Road to Davos 2016

From January 20th to 23rd, the 46th Annual Meeting for World Economic Forum will take place in Davos Switzerland..The main topic for this meeting will be: “The domain of the fourth industrial revolution”. The first one took place with the steam machine and the first trains. The second one occurred with electricity and mass production. The third came with computers and the World Wide Web, also known as the Internet. But this fourth revolution is coming to us thanks to systems and technologies that allow us to to work with artificial intelligence, drones, nanotechnology, robots, 3D printings capable of creating objects, among many other interesting developments.

All of these novelties are changing the world as we know it. These technologies come with great benefits, but they also bring new challenges, as they have an effect ton other existing issues, such as inequality, unemployment and other social issues. So, the question is: How can we ensure that this fourth industrial revolution and its repercussions won’t dominate us, but rather motivate us to use these innovations well in order, to create a better world?

Upon my return, I will share my insights on what I learned with you
